Scope: This Policy applies to information we collect through our application, website, forms, and other communications (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
Data Collection
Personal Information: When you register on our application or website, we may request information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, government-issued identifications, or business details. We may also collect similar information if you complete onboarding, registration, or contact forms. As part of our onboarding process and to verify your identity, we may conduct background checks, including but not limited to criminal records, driving history, known aliases, prior addresses, and work authorization. We may also collect information from publicly available sources or law enforcement.
Payment Information: When you add a payment method to your account, we may receive your payment information and billing address.
Communications: If you contact us directly, we will receive information you provide such as your name, email address, telephone number, and the contents of the message or attachments you send to us. This may be through in-app communication, email communication, telephone communication, or form communication.
File Uploads: We may collect any files, documents, photos, videos, and audio files that you upload or send to us.
Location Information: We may collect approximate location data from your mobile device when the Skyu app is running in the foreground (app open + on-screen) or background (app open + off-screen).
Device Information: We may collect data about the devices that use our services including unique device identifiers, operating system versions, software versions, and mobile network data.

Process Payment: We use your data to process your payments, linked to your payment methods.
Ensure Safety + Security: We may use your data to ensure the safety and quality of our labor network is preserved by verifying your identity and conducting rigorous background checks.
Support + Communications: We use your data to maintain contact with you. We’ll use it to provide you with in-store, in-app, or website support when you need it the most.
Data Sharing
External Service Providers: We may share your data with payment processors, background check providers, identity verification providers, Google, and any other vendors that may assist Skyu to conduct our operations.
Merger, Acquisition, Sales: We may share your data with others related to any merger, sale, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, financing, or any event that involves a transfer of assets to another company.
Legal Reasons: We may share your data in the unlikely event of an emergency to protect Skyu, Skyu’s employees or users. In order to comply with laws, legal processes, requests from law enforcement or government agencies we may share your data. We also may share your data to enforce our polices and agreements.
Permission: If we decide to share your data externally in any other way not described, we will notify you and ask for consent before sharing your data.
Data Retention + Deletion
Skyu may retain your data as long as it is needed for purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Data may also be kept as long as it is allowed by legal regulations. Users can request their account and data to be deleted. However, after a deletion request, data may be kept in order to comply with legal requirements. Under normal circumstances, data is deleted 90 days after a deletion request is made.
Updates to Privacy Policy
